About Brynn Baker, a cheerleader for Louisville...

Nov 11, 2016, 6:07 AM

Can they really suspend her bc of social media tweets? Isn't that against our constitutional rights? I don't know entire story but my goodness what the hell is going on?

Well the first amendment protects people's right to free speech from government prosecution. It doesn't protect people who are in clubs and organizations from the fallout from expressing that right.

I think what she sa I'd is very true. Her opinion. Better to try something different than more runs up the middle on first down. Been doing that for the past fifty years. Three yards and a cloud of dust.

So you believe that...

That people should stop talking about racism and sexism and those that do sound like they came off a boat...implying they are immigrants in some way.

Is that correct? I just want to be sure and understand why you think that and you explain yourself...

An opinion isn't truth .
It's an opinion .
That being said , she isn't protected from fallout when she is representing her school and subordinate organizations and saying things that they do not wish to be associated with by proxy .

Mistake on her part , and I hope she learns from this mistake .

Has been this way for a long time.........while representing an organization, your personal views, when voiced publicly, can be considered damaging to said org. The Military is a prime example of this.

Of course they can

An organization or company can suspend/fire/remove/punish anyone for conduct they believe reflects poorly on them.

If she had expressed the opposite opinion using the same type of wording and tone she would've received the same punishment.
