I wonder if all the idiots (deserve something more harsh) that are bashing these hires within would feel the same when we hired a wr coach that no one knew about hardly who had no coordinator experience to be our head coach … we all know the success that has come from that but I really want to know from those ppl. It’s super annoying to read and hear these stupid A$$ comments from ppl that have no clue what goes on inside our program…you just look really dumb questioning a guys plan that has had the success we have had the last 10 years plus … really just blows my mind

Yes I realize that more times than not that wouldn’t have worked out but my point is that it did … Dabo has built a powerhouse and has always had a plan… and it’s directed at the idiots that think they know more about what’s best for the program … sounds like Dabo had this Goodwin hire in his mind a few years now… I remember hearing when he was hired and Tommy told TDP he would be great bc he had this huge binder of all these plans/ideas and how he would run a program… the guy knows what the hell he’s doing and just tired of seeing the bashing like ppl know more than the guy that literally is one of the most successful coaches of the last 10 plus years

There are positives and negatives with Dabo’s method. Some have focused their opinion on only the negatives while others have on only the positives. Neither is correct and suggesting one side are idiots is inherently flawed.

You pull a Saban and continue with splash name hires your program is in constant flux. It does not affect Bama but is a contradiction to Dabo’s belief system. Dabo is more family culture kind of guy so this is exactly how he wants to run his team. We went outside early on because there was no one ready to step up. These guys will do fine and he will bring in more understudies that will be getting prepared for when these guys move on. I feel sure that when or if he needs to bring in someone that he would not hesitate to do so but I feel he knew how this was going to play out way before any of us had a clue. Different sport but Coach K implements a similar plan with his coaching staff.

Over the past few weeks a lot of angst and perceived fear of the unknown while at the same time some of these fans said they were All in” and “In Dabo we trust”. Well, it’s one way or the other but not both. The one “known” through all of this is that Dabo is our coach and will do his very best for Clemson. We’re blessed to have him. Through his leadership Clemson was put back on the CFB map and now one of the top programs.
He was spot on during his pressor; the minority of doubters (that seem to whine the loudest) will always question his every move and will never have faith in him. I look forward to the future with our newly promoted staff.
Go Tigers and lets load up the ROY bus !!!
