OB Tickets for Troops campaign

I just participated in the Tickets for our Troops program to donate a seat at the Orange Bowl to a deserving member of our Armed Forces. I learned that to date there have been 100 such tickets procured.

SURELY TIGER Fans, we can get a better response than that for those serving our country or whom have served. I recognize the economy being stale and the disappointment of two big game losses has restricted the desire or ability of some Tiger fans to head to the Orange Bowl.
Nonetheless--the Clemson fan base--many of whom are not going to the OB--can afford to send one of our troops in their place for $50. Clemson's patriotism is seldom challenged and now should not be the time for being an onlooker.

I'd feel better if CUAD matched purchases 1 to 1

This is a good idea on paper, but it's too easy to think that it's simply a ploy to move some of the ticket inventory. CUAD could just give the tickets it doesn't sell to military personnel in Miami if it were truly interested in having them at the game.

Ticket prices are $99 each, I believe. Clemson AD reduced same to $50 each.
They have taken a hit for their part. Bow we should do ours. Will you buy one?
