Had them 28-14 and let Byrnes come back. Glad they made up for last year and ready for NW to be back in Big16.

Region 2 4A was the best region in SC for a long, long time!! Northwestern, Spartanburg, Gaffney, Dorman, Byrnes,Rock Hill, Boiling Springs, lots of good football Friday nights in those days!!

The NW offense was extremely predictable. Too many screens.

Byrnes made great adjustments on D in the second half and held them to one TD till OT. Had the Byrnes QB not fumbled on his way into the endzone, Byrnes probably wins it in regulation.

It was a terrific game from two very good teams, regardless.

I don't know, honestly, but with the recent allegations against Oklahoma St., I wonder if NW's QB, Mason Rudolph, will hold firm to his commitment to that program!?

He is headed to a smaller school if I am not mistaken its his little brother that is being recruited by the big programs....
