Nuk Hopkins might end up being Clemson's best NFL player

Sep 17, 2015, 8:18 AM

Of all time. Lots of ppl kinda forget about him because he's quiet and stays out of the media, but you can't help but notice him on Sundays. He's quietly becoming a superstar. I know Dawk is a legend and future HOF'er, but who knows, Nuk may be too.

He's real, real good

Kardokie was in the nfl for about 387 years. That has to account for somEthing.***

Geville Tiger on Clemson football , "Dabo's only problem is he has to deal with turd fans questioning every move he makes.”

Haha and had the best job possible.

Nuk has to run across the middle and take big hits, and make DBs look stupid snaggin all over them. What's crazy is he could probably play DB as good as the NFL guys

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Nah man. Charlie has the best job

Sep 17, 2015, 4:26 PM

possible. Makes millions and millions and doesn't even have to go on the field.

Let's not forget Charlie. He's about a decade in now and still (quietly) going strong. He really does have a great gig!

What is Kardokie? You mean Chris Gardocki?

Sorry, I was trying to play your game, but when you got

Sep 17, 2015, 8:44 AM

to "I know Dawk is a legend and future HOF'er" you could have stopped there...

Re: Sorry, I was trying to play your game, but when you got

Nuk is only in his 3rd year, where Dawk has a whole career to judge. By the time Nuk is a 5th or 6th year guy, and hopefully the Texans have a QB by then, he'll be top 3 wide receiver in the league along with Dez and Megatron

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Sorry, I was trying to play your game, but when you got

Sep 17, 2015, 4:43 PM

Possibly, but Megatron won't be a top 3 receiver in 3 years, he isn't even top three right now.

Re: Sorry, I was trying to play your game, but when you got

Sep 17, 2015, 4:45 PM

You don't think so? I've got Dez as number 1, Julio at 2 and Megatron as 3. I feel like I'm forgetting somebody, but I wouldn't hesitate to take Nuk over any of them if I was in charge of a team

talking about quiet former Tiger NFLers...Jeff Bryant

Sep 17, 2015, 10:11 AM

A Clemson HOFer, played 12 years in Seattle, started at every DL position, and was a steady beast for the Seahawks, he is virtually forgotten by Clemson folks and played pre internet out in Seattle. The guy saved the NC in '81 with perhaps the most heads up play in Tiger history when he recovered the Tar Hole QBs fumble late in the game. I think he is an all time Tiger great from my lifetime who is miles under the radar. The first 1st rounder for Clemson in years too. #99 was the truth...

Jeff Bostic has the most rings

Sep 17, 2015, 10:17 AM

and Michael Dean Perry and Dwight Clark were both fantastic NFL players.

Re: Jeff Bostic has the most rings

Sep 17, 2015, 10:20 AM

I'm not basing it on rings. I'm going on player performance, never been a big believer that rings defines a player. But I see what you're saying, didn't get to see any of those guys play either tho

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

I didn't see them play live

Sep 17, 2015, 10:26 AM

but plenty of highlights online and in various editions of NFL Films

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Yes they were...I'd take MDP and Bryant as starters at DE on

Sep 17, 2015, 10:23 AM [ in reply to Jeff Bostic has the most rings ]

My all time, "seen them play", Tiger team. Bostic was a quick technician as a Center for years and MDP and Bryant lined up all over the DL and lived in the backfield.

Michael Dean Perry and Brian Dawkins

Sep 17, 2015, 1:21 PM

had the most highly decorated careers.

MDP - 6-time Pro Bowler & 2-time First-Team All-Pro

BD - 9-time Pro Bowler & 4-time First-Team All-Pro

Get back to me when someone else comes close.

Never got to see him play. 81 was 9 years before I existed
