To play us in South Bend with major defensive players and Trevor out and beat us in double overtime to get in the top 4. With that said, I think the Irish will play Bama much tougher than many think. I don’t think the Kelly’s win, but Bama giving up tons of points this season.
And once again, we draw the toughest first round matchup. Ohio State hasn’t played great, but if you watched the Big 10 championship, you are reminded how dirty they play.
For the argument of expanding the playoffs, I still think there are 2 maybe 3 teams and then everybody else.

I have listened to 8 hours of XM Radio talk and everyone has said that Fields can’t and won’t run and that there spells trouble.

it is too political even though it benefits Clemson.
For the good of college football, needs to be conf champions, best team from group of five and two others based on rankings similar to BCS.

Power 5 champs and 1 at large. Takes a lot of the subjectivity out and allows a UCF or a Cincinnati to get in. A field of 8 will give at least two smack downs 99% of the time. Often with the 4 team field there are 2 smack downs already. But conference champs makes sense.

Typically only 3 good teams each year. If expanding to 8, there'll just be more bchin about who should be in spots 6-8, and more G5 teams continue to be left out.
As long as Clemson is in Top 4 consistently, then no need to change.
