GE did not pay any federal taxes last year. The jobs, especially the hourly, are at a lower tier pay system than those previously hired before 2011. Because of this, GE is having a hard time keeping new hires. Plus, the benefits changed starting this year with higher deductibles and more out of your pocket. Granted, there are jobs available, but some things to consider.

I have been an employee at GE since 2001. Yes, they are still good paying jobs, but much lower pay scale than prior to 2011.
