I guess if we can win this weekend I will have to pull Unc and Fsu and that is tough because I hate the tarholes more than the #####. I know it is a non-conference game but if there is a three way tie we need wake to get beat 3 times.

If there is a three-way tie the highest ranked team gets in. If Wake Forest only has two losses and wants to us and the other wants to state there’s still a good chance they will be ranked higher than us. We have 3 losses so wake needs 3.

I guess I am wrong because in my scenario State would have beat both Clemson and wake forest and they would get the not correct.

I think he is saying for Wake to not be division champs they and NC St need 2 Conf losses, one of Wake's being to us, and if a 3 way tie with NC St, Wake and Clemson another loss would give us a chance at being selected over them and NC St (worse loss, Miss St over GA). So a loss to UNC would possibly keep them out too. We would have the head to head on Wake.

#1 Clemson has to win out
Chances are higher of: NCstate beats Wake & loses 2x to FSU/CUSE/UNC.........while Wake loses NCstate & Clemson
than
Wake beats NCstate and Wake loses 2x to Clemson AND BC..........while NCstate loses 1x to FSU/Cuse/UNC

wake might lose to UNC, I think the spread is in their favor (which is crazy) but at least Vegas thinks we have a chance

Right there with you, will be watching and pulling for both teams, increases mathematical odds significantly! and the spreads are close enough that at least is plausible

I am not pulling against Wake until we play them. We can't win a Natty. I kind of hope Wake has their year. I would love to see them in playoff. I would actually love to see them win it. Extreme long shot but would be freaking hilarious if they beat Bama or UGA.

wake will not make the playoffs even being undefeated, they basically said last night on the selection show, wake has very little to zero chance of making playoffs because acc this year is trash, there is nobody on wakes schedule that will boost their schedule enough to get in, if they finish undefeated, they may get lucky and get as high as 6 or 7, they will keep a 2 loss bama . ohio state , oregon or one of those teams with a better resume higher, I would have loved for unc game count as acc conference game cause i think unc has chance to upset wake, but if not we need FSU to beat nc state and state to upset wake, but none of it matters if we don't beat Louisville which will be tough on the road. but pray to the football gods that miracles can happen, id love to see us make the acc championship game after all the ESPN pundits said there is zero chance clemson wins acc this year just so they can eat crow..

An undefeated ACC champ will get a spot no matter what. That’s been said over and over by the committee. I don’t care what any punkdit says
