They could have used the Carolina PAnthers stadium in Charlotte, but for some reason Tanner didnt want to go there because there was already a NASCAR race there. Not sure what the correlation between those two are.

Panther stadium never was an opportunity . With new sod , they weren't allowing anyone on that field this week. Wasn't Tanner's decision.
