Clemson vs. Georgia Tech Prediction: Tigers try to keep Bees out of the endzone

No. 6 Clemson opens up league play Saturday afternoon in Death Valley, hosting Georgia Tech in a 3:30 pm tilt. The Tigers destroyed the Yellow Jackets 73-7 last season in Atlanta and won 52-14 in Geoff Collins’ first year as head coach in 2019. That means in Collins’ two seasons, Clemson has outscored Georgia Tech 125-21.

Love Devonta Bentley and the way he plays. Not sure why we haven't seen more of him on the field. Guy's a wrecking ball!!

"Get the tight ends involved."

I think we've all been saying that since Dwayne Allen graduated. We recruit some good tight ends and seem to never use them.

When we drink, we get drunk.
When we get drunk, we fall asleep.
When we fall asleep, we commit no sin.
When we commit no sin, we go to heaven.
So, let's all get drunk, and go to heaven!

Will be interested to see if the TEs are used to any extent. Also would like to see what J Lay can do since the staff gave him props earlier. David Hood is correct. BC and ND know how to effectively use that position.

score over 40 points against Tech.

Considering that we couldn't top 50 against SC State, and only scored 3 against Georgia, I wouldn't bet on us topping 40.

Here's to seeing our offense make some major strides this week!

They may be optimistic, but Clemson scored 42 points in 2 1/3 quarters which would have figured out to 72 points in 4 quarters. Dabo isn't going to hang 72 points on an instate school.

But we have not used TE's to any effect since Jordan Leggett left. It baffles me. We hear coaches talk about how good they are in camp
and who has turned the corner. Why?

I've heard the coaches talk about how how difficult the TE position is to play in our offense. Seems like it would be easy....we only use them to block.

The bit about ND and BC using their TE's effectively is true. But 8f you want to see what a TE can do to a good defense watch the 2015 NC game. OJ Howard shredded us that night
