Pastor Dabo Swinney was again back in the pulpit Tuesday, taking up for his team and his league as only he can. he Tigers are preparing to take on Virginia in the ACC Championship Game Saturday at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte (7:30 pm, ABC), and Swinney was asked about the perception that the Atlantic Coast Conference is weak. I don't think Dabo needs any validation from anybody. He is the top coach in college football at this moment.

Sounds to me like he is taking up for his players because he is pizzed that they don't get the credit they deserve for what they have accomplished.

That's exactly what I get out of it. I know Dabo always says not to let outside distractions effect the performance of the team, but he's just being "mama bear" right now. I think he's had enough of his kids performance being diminished in the media.
