Pitt has the best offense we have played and since our offense is limited in how many points we can put on the board our defense may not be able to save us this time

Frankly, neither is Syracuse's or GT's defense any good.
And Clemson put up 14 and 17 against those defenses.

Actually if you look at season stats for the season the Pitt Defense overall has played well. Just a few places from Clemson in overall defensive yards allowed. The WM game was an abnormally to the rest of their games. We will have to have our best offensive game to win.

only played two ACC teams, Ga Tech, Va Tech and an average Tennessee team. They have also played UMass, New Hampshire, and lost to Western Michigan.
By comparison, Clemson played the current #1 team in the Country, and held them to 10 points, with the lone TD by UGa a pick six for a TD. Clemson has also played four ACC games; NC State, Ga Tech, Syracuse, and BC compared to the two ACC games Pitt has played.
Only one team has scored more than 20 points on Clemson all season, and that was NCSU in double overtime in Raleigh. While Pitt gave up 44 points in a loss to Western Michigan, 34 points in a win over Tennessee, and scoring 21 in a win over Ga Tech.

True, we have won based on our defense, even with all

of the injuries we have had on defense. We have lost offensive line depth and starters, and we also have had RB and WR injuries.
We held Ga Tech to 8 points. Only one team scored over 20 points and that was NCSU in double overtime.

Exactly. I won’t touch this or be running to the bank this week. Had the best of both worlds for three weeks; pulled for Clemson to win but knew they wouldn’t cover the spread. Vegas sees and understands what we have seen.

They set a line that has moved nearly a TD since it opened. That's never good business for the books and I'm sure they'd like a mulligan on that one.
