to live your life constantly suspicious of everyone and everything, except for the very few people you've decided are trustworthy.
I have seen so many posts here over the last year and a half claiming that the election was rigged, COVID is a conspiracy, almost all scientists are trying to deceive us, Big Pharma is trying to make us all sick, the government is only using the pandemic to control us, and other dramatic sentiments.
I get it, scientists can falsify data, doctors make mistakes, and the government certainly screws things up at times. But to wake up every day believing that most of these people are out to get you and have some ulterior motive all the time has to be a horrible way to live your life.
This approach seems to be widespread these days. It makes me sad.

It is VERY dark...and gets even darker as the series goes on. Possibly to a point where you don't want to watch too much at one time or it could affect your mood.

I'm not arguing that experts and people in leadership positions in industry and government are pure and noble all the time. There are some bad apples. There is bad data. There are certainly agendas. We can't trust everything we are told.
But I just don't see the legitimate evidence for many of the crackpot theories out there today, and always assuming someone is trying to manipulate you or control you or lie to you must be tiring.

It's dangerous to create a false dichotomy where the only two options are either everything's perfect or it's all a huge conspiracy/power grab.
As with most things, the truth is likely somewhere in the middle.
Are there government agendas? Of course.
Are there financial incentives for some people to behave a certain way? Yep.
Are there inconsistencies in what an expert/official/news anchor has said publicly? Yes.
But to take some of the above examples and morph that into a unifying, all-encompassing conclusion such as "they're all out to get us" is a huge leap - one that is a far cry from reality.

Not having to worry about what I’m being told to do today.
There are 2 primary ways to cope with what’s been going on for the last 4+ years ... fall in line or tune it out.
Not sure how much you trust the gov or the media, but if those two entities are in lock step and they told me to drink a glass of water tomorrow- I’d ask questions. There’s simply a large gap in messaging and everything’s political. You can continue to imply that those that question are dumb, but if you can’t see that these entities are not trustworthy and have brought question unto themselves- that’s fine. I don’t feel the need to call you names- or question your choices. I couldn’t care less... other than during b-ball season when you provide real entertainment value!

The election was not rigged, but it was not a level playing field and there was a ton of cheating going on. Tgere was in fact a conspiracy to keep Trump from winning. Maybe you didn’t read the article in time magazine. And 32 states did illegally change their voting laws.
Cove it is not a conspiracy, but there is a conspiracy the way the government and large government organizations are handling Covid. Conspiracy is simply a group of people getting together and coordinating. Do you think that the CDC, FDA, WHO, NIH, The mainstream media, the Democrats, and other government bureaucracy is not coordinating on this? Of course they are. And that is called collusion which is also a conspiracy.
Furthermore, the government is in fact handling this completely differently than all of the medical emergencies in the past despite the fact that those viruses were far worse than Covid.
Call but it’s not nearly as dangerous as they are trying to make you think. And anyone it takes an objective look at the data along with historical context would understand this.
No. Big Pharma is not trying to make you sick. But they’re not trying to get you well either. Our medical system does not cure people. It treats the symptoms. Big Pharma doesn’t want to cure diseases because they make far more money treating your symptoms and keeping you alive for 30 to 50 years. Big Pharma is the same as a parasite.
And the government is using Covid to control the population. You see the same thing with Covid that you see with climate change. Politicians saying one thing while they do the exact opposite. It’s the same with gun control. The establishment Republicans and the Democrats in general and the main stream media and Hollywood are all full of #### and it’s all propaganda.
And there is in fact a conspiracy among the mainstream media. Do you think it’s a coincidence that for years every major newspaper and publication as well as the news networks all have the same stories and use almost identical headlines and talking points? It was revealed over a decade ago the list of people that basically get emailed on a regular basis from the Democratic Party the talking points that they are to adhere to.
I’m not a conspiracy theorist, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t plenty of conspiracies!

While I don't care for Trump at all and was a registered Democrat until May 2020, your timetable and list of conspiracy theories left out three years of Russian investigations that culminated in an impeachment for a phone call with Ukraine. It was just as absurd as the Republicans saying Obama wasn't born in Hawaii. We can roll the tape back to George Washington to find hypocrisy in American politics and we can definitely have a conversation about skepticism of government reaching levels previously unseen, but to act like this all started last year is not supported by evidence.
I will grant you, however, that COVID, because it necessitated Government forcibly intervening in everyone's lives, naturally made both proponents and opponents of the system more vocal. As the old saying goes, opinions are like [explicative], everyone's got one and sometimes they stink.
