It's no different for Baylor or TCU playing Texas or Kansas in the Big 12. The big name teams will always be granted favoritism.

if anything....we need to start WHIPPING THE POO out of ALL the other ACC teams on a more consistent basis!!!
then they'd be forced to change the culture of screwing us & holding us back & chalking us up as never having even had a chance! THAT'S what I'm sick of...the incessant bias against our sports teams in lots of sports. especially ACC Basketball & Football!!!
We win & we get our deserved respect, doesn't matter the conference, but this one is ours...we don't need to tuck our tails & run because we keep getting bent over when we deserve to have our games officiated fairly. And that is it!!!

school so why do we keep getting screwed in football too. I can buy a little into your argument about basketball but not in football. I don't know why but the ACC has always seemed to have it out for Clemson.

i see your point, but we've ALWAYS BEEN the most hated football power of the conference...!!!
dude...everybody hates the winner! plus. we've always been considered sort of an underdog/underachievers for awhile, & or against bigger OOC foes, so we aren't expected to win...which pi$$es those other said fans off!!! (especially with betting  )

Not me. It just makes me want next season to get here more quickly. I now see that Coach BB's team can play with these big boys regardless of talent on the floor. This Parker kid is supposed to be the greatest thing since sliced bread but I will take a healthy K.J. over him any day. Can you imagine what kind of player Nnoko would be if he was on the Duke or UNC team? He will become a star player next season at Clemson. There are several others on the team who will progress into big time guys by next November.

beat'em if you join'em...heck we ARE the ACC!!!
we SHOULD be owning this conference...and i think we will be soon 
if BB&BB & Football&Swinney can keep up the good work we can clean house!!!
then IF we ever truly wanted to leave for another conference (why we would or should I don't know or see why really with our rich ACC tradition...) we'd do it on OUR TERMS!
we shouldn't run to another popular conference just to gain recognition...we ARE already world-recognized & renowned, & it keeps getting better!!!

Not if it meant moving to the Big 12. That is not a good geographical fit. No close contact with other teams' fans to develop a natural rivalry, local recruits and those from nearby states would relate more to playing against and beating schools they are more familiar with, and who says we get better treatment from the refs out there?

Clemson & FSU should have left and formed new conference

with Miami, Louisville, WVa, GT, VT, Central Fl, south Fl, and build around those teams. Leave these candyass NC schools to play with themselves and isolate them. It's time to stick it to them. We sure haven't gained anything by being in the ACC compared to what we've been screwed out of.
