internet and throwing it on their presentation. It's not what the final design will look like (unfortunately for Auburn, because wow...the one they have now is ridiculous).
Anyway, if they were planning on using the paw, I wouldn't even worry about the lawyers. I'd have Barker write a letter to their president saying that we appreciate them incorporating a symbol of our current ownership of their university into their design. I would Carbon Copy ESPN.

1. Henderson Adv. never owned the trademark. The tiger paw was created by one of their graphic designers.
2. Clemson didn't get the trademark right away, so they are limited in their protection. I believe they can only protect against exact replication and use that specifically identifies it w/ Clemson Univ.
3. Therefore any school is able to make use of a tiger paw so long as they don't use an exact copy of Clemson's.
4. Auburn already has a tiger paw at the Toomers intersection.

Now if you don't enforce your trademark, you lose it. It would be an interesting case in litigation if Clemson were to go after Auburn for trademark infringement on the Paw.
