Not concerned with QB ..... what about RB ?

I'm not really concerned about RB either .... it would be nice to get a Gurley/Cook sized RB someday ...

In the mean time .... for QB/RB .... with the talent we have , competition will breed a champion starter ... They are practicing/competing with the defending national champions every practice ???? Their goal is to beat Kent State and go 15-0 ... comown!

Regarded Feaster as the number one high school RB in 2015. I saw a lot in him that I liked last year. It appears to me as if Coach Swinney has brought him along at the correct pace and I expect to see him be 'the guy' in the back field this season. Am I that far in left field with this prediction?

No no I agree. I've been waiting on Feaster to step on as the next big "who is this" guy in the country since he stepped on campus. He has a size and speed unmatched and when they finally decide to let him onto that field and let him loose I think he's a mismatch no team is going to be prepared for.

I think with Feaster it's always been about the pass catching and pass blocking parts of his game. We know he can run it. I expect he will get a good amount of touches in 2017. Fuller came on strong after last year, but if you've got someone like Feaster you need to put the ball in his hand 15+ times a game and see what he can do with it.

... then QB and RB will be fine.

We have a lot of skill and ability at both QB and RB ... just not much experience.

Meanwhile, we have a very experienced OL.

We could see the negative impact of the diluted, split-team OL in the Spring Game and how their lack of effectiveness impacted the way the QBs and RBs performed.

I'm not worried about QB or RB as long as they are behind a solid, effective, productive OL.

RB is the position that worries me the most. When Gallman went down last year against NCST our running game went with him. I think Fuller is ok but not the kind of back you win titles with. I hope the coaches turn Feaster loose this season wether his blocking skills are where they want them or not. He has the skill we need and TE & JS need to find a way to get him 10-20 touches a game.

QB & DB Positions will drive Clemson 2017 Season Record

These positions are largely unproven question marks. The team has an opportunity to go from very good to great if these positions come up to speed quickly and deliver throughout the year. The balance of positions are rock sold. Then like every season there is always the competition, the calls, the momentum and the way the ball bounces.
