Not as bad as it seems

1) we have gotten so used to offensive blowouts we can't appreciate good defense. Would you rather have a 10-3 loss to UGA or a 40-35 win over Tulane? Honestly I'll take the loss because we took on a tough game and played strength on strength.
2) field position in the first quarter killed the game plan...DJ didn't have the space to get comfortable and that fed the rest of the game. Would you rather be offensively inept starting on the 45 for an entire quarter or starting on the 5?
3) how good is our defense? Man

Do we have some work to do? Absolutely. But look across the board.

Bama - looked great. Not even close
Oklahoma - what defense
UGA - what offense
Clemson - what offense
OSU - what defense
Lsu - not good
Oregon - not good
UNC - not good
Etc

No one has looked the part outside of Bama ... We all have the season to grow. Be patient.

But Caldwell does need to go. It's time.

Without the int we we would have likely won that game 6-3.
