First, he openly stated that if his defense played the way it did last night, they weren't winning any championships, against anybody, and that they had to do a whole lot better. He didn't throw anybody under the bus, but he wasn't afraid to state the obvious, be truthful, and be critical of his team.
Secondly, he said the #1 critical factor is the QB play, and that most games, the way the game id played today, comes down to the QB; can he adapt and make you right when your OC is wrong, the decisions he has to make on the RPO, who to throw the ball to, are almost more important than the decisions made by the offensive coordinator.

The problem is, when you say negative things like that, it singles out people by inference, so it is just passive aggressively naming names. While this is a management strategy that works in some organizations, it is not one that works well when dealing with teenagers and prima donna coordinator hires. You don't have to name names for these folks to take it personally. I have no issue with Dabo never going negative. I have issue with his policy on roster management.

I agree, but kids these days are not accustomed to that kind of parenting/management/behavioral reinforcement. Many react very poorly. You literally have to treat most of them like girls (especially those hailing from the left coast). It is sad, but here we are.

Dabo's lost a lot of the grit he used to have. These recent events tell me he has lost focus and confidence in his team and in his system.

Does this mean the SEC isn’t any good or does it mean LSU is a nobody?
