As you read this article, don’t forget that she is around 85 times smarter than you.
Tons and tons and tons of hog waste go into lagoons for treatment all over the southeast (China owns the majority of those hogs, by the way). Opinions go back and forth between aerobic and anaerobic, so I don’t know who is aerating and who isn’t. Sometimes there are floods that overflow the lagoons and pollute our waterways and reservoirs.
But it could all be instead composted for a year and sold for fertilizer. If the market is there.
