I wouldn't trust it coming from Robert MacRae at TCI. He gets a lot of his information from someone that has a website covering UF. In my opinion he puts too much stock in what they tell him. They were the ones that kept saying Ray Ray to UF. Of course, TCI ran with it.

Actually, that is not entirely true. Nobody is "projecting" him to Clemson. Most feel he is a "lean" to Clemson. Nothing more. Fact is, Simpson has kept all this very close to his chest, and nobody knows what he is going to do.

How about close to the vest. It's an old card (poker) players expression meaning you hold your cards close to your "vest" or body so you don't "tip your hand" or accidentally allow the other players to see your cards.
