Was it Booger that said there were high schools in AL with

Jan 12, 2016, 5:03 PM

better offensive lines than Clemson? I would love to drag his fat #### out there and let him line up against Kevin Dodd. Anyone who makes that stupid of a comment should be fired on the spot! It is one thing to exhibit obvious bias, but to make comments that only a fool would make is despicable. Do y'all know how he got the name Booger? Eating boogers in fourth grade!

Yeah, I don't get the ESPN love for him. Kevin Carter

Jan 12, 2016, 5:07 PM

is soooo much better, and actually should be on Game Day over Desmond Howard, and yet he can't seem to get any traction to move up to the big shows. Carter is not a bloviator like 3/4 of the ESPN analysts these days, or an SEC cheerleader even though he played in the SEC. I'd like to see more of him and less of Booger or Desmond or Tebow.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Booger & Tebow should be fired yesterday, I can tolerate

Jan 12, 2016, 5:17 PM

Desmond, but Kanell is the one that needs to be promoted. But he won't because he is too honest.

You do realize Gallman had 50 YDS rushing and 39 was on one play late in the 4th quater. DW was running all night for his life. Your Oline got man handled by the Alabama Dline.

certainly not the UA/CU game played on Jan. 11, 2016... DeShaun had more time in the pocket than any QB that played bama ALL YEAR LONG...
Gallman found the running tough for sure, but get over this perception, you might get straight-jacketed...

Watson sacked once, I lost count of how many times we were in the Alabama backfield with Sacks and Tackles for loss.

Clemson 31 1st downs
Alabama 18

What game were you watching?

badge-donor-10yr.jpg flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Where are your facts?

Jan 12, 2016, 5:48 PM

45 - 40 that's what game I was watching. Watson ran all night for his life. Credit to him. He's amazing! He accounted for 95% of your offense. Take him out and you guys get drilled.

On the other hand, you take Henry out and Coker threw for over three hundred and two TD'S. It's called balance. Not relying on one player. If Watson goes down and well, it's ball game.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Where are your facts?

Jan 12, 2016, 6:08 PM

So you're saying Watson got robbed and should have won the heisman?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Where are your facts?

Jan 12, 2016, 6:12 PM [ in reply to Re: Where are your facts? ]

I'll give it to you....that one is LESS STUPID.

I'm not clear though.....which player would you guys have won without? Was it Coker? Or was it Henry?

Can all the Tiger faithful please say a prayer for me? This next answer might be dumb enough to stop my heart.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Where are your facts?

Jan 12, 2016, 8:33 PM

You don't get it and your getting off point. Alabama's Dline shut your running game down. Your 1500 yard rusher had 45 yards and 34 come one carry in the 4th quater.

The rest of your offense was DW and that is a testament to how good he is. He made plays all night with his feet. There were only a few plays where he was set in the pocket. Everyone new if we couldn't contain him you guys could score. But the fact is Alabama did what they have done all year. They made Clemson one dimensional.

On the other hand Clemson did neither. Coker had a huge game. Henry had a huge game. Howard had the best game in his career.

Like I originally said, take DW out of the equation and it would've been ugly.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Where are your facts?

Jan 12, 2016, 8:42 PM

Let's use your logic on Henry. You take away his one big carry and he a game less than 3 yards a carry. That's your heisman winner

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Where are your facts?

Jan 12, 2016, 8:48 PM

He's still over a hundred with two TD'S.

Re: Where are your facts?

Jan 12, 2016, 8:44 PM [ in reply to Re: Where are your facts? ]

Take OJ out of the game and Bama falls by 2 scores. Why does DW owning your defense NOT MEAN your defense got owned by Clemson??

No sense doth thine argument make, and thus an argument it ceases to be.

Some things will never change

Jan 12, 2016, 6:28 PM [ in reply to Re: Was it Booger that said there were high schools in AL with ]

I got ticked for half a second reading this, then realized this is no different than the ignorance thrown around before the game. It seems like most people are incapable of living in the reality that Bama has equals, so they continue to spin facts to fit the deluded worldview they have been sold. Last night proves that either Clemson is just as elite or Alabama isn't nearly as good as everyone thought. Either way, Alabama has equals.

I think UA is a great team. They were outplayed and physically outmatched last night. Its interesting that Bama needed to employ finesse to hang with Clemson. Bama played a nearly flawless game. Clemson made at least 5 costly errors (interception, sleeping on the onside kick, awful kick coverage, blown pass coverage) each directly leading to points.

Narrative coming into the game was that Clemson had to play a perfect game to have a chance.

Narrative after SHOULD BE that Bama needed a perfect game to eke out a 5 point victory.

That, of course, simply doesn't comport with the twisted worldview so folks like this will wear reality-blinders and pretend that Clemson was dominated. If you say it enough, people will eventually forget what really happened.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Some things will never change

Jan 12, 2016, 8:41 PM

All I know is everytime I turned around Clemson players were limping off the field. Not once did I see a Alabama player limp off or go to the locker room. So being physically out matched is way, way off. I will give you this, DW outplayed everyone last night.

Not sure what you mean by finesse? If you mean throwing the ball, it only makes sense to throw when teams stack the box with eight and nine players.

If you mean the brilliant onside kick call, well that isn't finesse that's called great scouting and coaching.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Some things will never change

Jan 12, 2016, 8:49 PM

Being physically outmatched by a TEAM of players is exactly what happened to Bama last night! Somebody limping off with a hammy does not mean Clemson was physically outmatched! You have GOTTT to be a troll, cuz sincerity plus your opinions equals skraight craycray.

Go Tigers.

Your DB was not the only player limping off the field. I recall a RB going into the tunnel. Bowlware right before the half and two of your WR'S limping off to get help.

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Some things will never change

Jan 12, 2016, 9:14 PM

You must have gone for a 6-pack when they were scraping-up the bammers.
Gallman ran to the lockerroom and ran back.
Alexander pulled a hamstring near the end of the game vs OK and was a surprise starter; nothing that Bammerr caused. Probably on one of the many tackles for loss on a Henry (Heisman joke) run.

The gofer Koker got sacked 5 times by the puny Clemson DL, while Watson was only sacked twice. Many times Watson had all day to throw the ball, while the gofer Choker was getting rid of the ball quick, or getting sacked.
Since Clemson had more rushing yards, and more passing yards, it seems that it was Bama's lines that were getting pushed around.
Did you know that the awesome Heisman trophy had 28 yards rushing in the 2nd half. More of a joke than awesome, don't you think?

flag link military_tech thumb_downthumb_up

Re: Was it Booger that said there were high schools in AL with

Joke? Not only did he win the Heisman. He rushed for over 150 with three TD'S against your team to win the National Championship. Just 28 yards in the second half and still won. WOW!

He's an idiot and shouldn't be on tv. I always tell individuals when they want to talk about sec vs Acc. I'm a Clemson fan 100. But if u want to talk x's and o's let's talk football. Our offense will be better next year. Clemson is not scared to play anyone and we proved that last pm.Our lines of scrimmage will soon be dominant. Ask Bama's defense how does feel to play us they were gased . If we had pressed the gas a little more we would have exposed them .Our staff will be better from this game. We can now recruit nationally. It's a privilege to play for Clemson. This is only the beginning. Booger I'm ashamed of you being an AA. Stay tuned!
