Post-Spring Depth Chart *unofficial

QB- Deshaun Watson, Nick Schuessler RB- Wayne Gallman, Tyshon Dye/CJ Davidson, Zac Brooks/CJ Fuller *Adam Choice could be back in the 2 deep pending full recovery from ACL by fall camp WR- Mike Williams, Trevion Thompson *Deon Cain & Ray Ray could end up in 2 deep by gametime (5 stars to enroll in summer) WR-Artavis Scott, Germone Hopper WR- Charone Peake, Germone Hopper TE- Jordan Leggett, Stanton Seckinger, Milan Richard/Cannon Smith/Jay Jay McCullough LT-Isaiah Battle, Mitch Hyatt LG-Eric MacLain, Taylor Hearn C-Ryan Norton, Justin Falcinelli *Jay Guillermo could return and get back in the 2 deep either in camp or sometime in season RG-Tyrone Crowder, Maverick Morris RT-Joe Gore, Jake Fruhmorgen
Redshirt- Noah Green, Zach Giella, Garrett Williams, Shadell Bell, Kelly Bryant, Tucker Israel (tentative RS for the 2 QBs)
WDE- Shaq Lawson, ?Richard Yeargin/Ebenezer Ogundeko? *Clelin Ferrell or Austin Bryant could see time if they recover in time from injuries sustained in HS. (Bryant is probably a SDE in the long run) SDE- Kevin Dodd, Ebenezer Ogundeko/ Albert Huggins DT- DJ Reader, Scott Pagano DT- Carlos Watkins, Christian Wilkins/Albert Huggins *I know this is reaching a little but if DJ Reader got significant playing time as a freshman with a talented group at DT then I think Wilkins will too. Huggins could slide inside either by will or necessity WLB- Ben Boulware, Korie Rogers MLB- BJ Goodson, Kendall Joseph SLB/Nickel- Dorian O'Daniel/ Korrin Wiggins CB- Mackenzie Alexander, Ryan Carter CB- Cordrea Tankersley, Mark Fields *Another reach but he will be the 2nd most talented corner when he steps on campus. As the others continue to struggle I think Fields slides in. If he steps in with the same attitude as Mack then he could start otherwise he could slide all the way to RS. S- Jayron Kearse, Jeffrie Gibson S- Jadar Johnson/TJ Green *not sure who ends up playing where and/or starts, but those are 4 really talented guys with 1 of them being an elite talent.
I think the questions have been answered on offense. Defense has 16 guys they can trust and if some of the freshman can come in then they might have about 18. Add in the few guys who are on the cusp of being game ready: Pagano, Rogers, Gibson, and Huggins, then you start to see a real 2 deep. Plenty of time until fall camp and more time until game 1. 2 warm-up games and we should be set barring injuries when we hit tough competition.

Literally @davidhood stole my thunder. Started working on my depth chart and step away for a minute and come back to finish and post...then BOOM someone links me to where he posted one earlier. Oh well, day in the life of a non-sports writer.

Jabril Robinson or Dane Rogers can hold off freshmen at DT 2 deep.

I think Wilkins cracks the 2-Deep the moment he steps on campus. Also I think Dabo and company promised Huggins significant playing time as a true freshman during his recruitment. He may see PT at both SDE and DT.

Doubtful, very rarely do 5 stars not make it into the 2 deep. Wilkins also appears to have incredible work ethic so I further expect him to jump the Jabril and Dane. They are a couple of years away still. May never get to if we keep recruiting like we are. Neither of them are Grady Jarrett caliber players.

I was expecting Blanks to have a spot - where do we see him fitting in?

He will be at the Nickel spot too. Korrin Wiggins has also been cross-training at safety. If the 2 deep is struggling back there then he will probably drop back and Blanks will slide in as the Nickel. Also, Kearse is going to be a Dime back sometimes which allows further shifting of safeties. Our dime package essentially has 4 safeties on the field. I expect him to blitz a good bit from that spot.
