To say this is bs.

Another point I don’t get. They say we can’t handle the liability. Let’s say someone dies of Covid and they sue. Not playing Ohio State will loose 100 million dollars this year not playing. They take the risk to play and risk CTE, spine injuries etc. If someone did try to sue would it be for 100 million dollars?

What $100 million? I assume that is gross not net. Lets think legal. Liability might have been doable if all schools played, but they did not. What a legal dream. Now if there is a death they have a big hammer, ' "why did you risk the athletes life when other major schools said no". Gold mine. The Pres. of the remaining power 5 schools would be negligent to move forward and risk the school. I want FB but the school is more important.

Ludicrous anyone can be held responsible for a virus unless they willfully and maliciously spread it. If you let lawyers lead and make decisions for your organization then you won’t be in business long.
