poaching coaches from other programs happens. I wish Dabo would do that on the coordinator front.
BV doesn't coach at Clemson anymore.......he's going to do whatever he feels is best for OU football.........and that's poaching Lebby, Roof, and whoever else he decides to go after and I don't blame him one bit.

Coaches is normal, now if he starts getting our recruits and players to go (which I highly doubt) that would be a different story. Wish him the best but I’m a Clemson fan not a BV/OU fan he isn’t here anymore so wish him the best. Now I really respect him taking the fair weather fans with him though that’s the highlight

I respect everyone’s right to share their opinions on this board. And of course we don’t all share the same thoughts. I believe as fans and supporters of Clemson University, we should wish Coach V all the best. He worked incredibly hard and was 100% dedicated to building the best defense in this nation. Just because he has taken a well deserved and hard earned HC position doesn’t mean his character and integrity has changed. Nor does it change how he feels about Clemson. He will carry a part of Clemson in his heart no matter where he goes. He is doing exactly the same thing at Oklahoma that he did for us at Clemson. He is picking the best and brightest to lead his team to be the very best they can be. If he did any less he would not be the man Oklahoma believes and trusts to move their program forward.
I wish he and his family all the best as they begin this new chapter in their lives.

In the end, it’s a business, and BV is making business decisions that will best benefit his program, and allow him to keep his job. It’s weird how personal some of y’all take things that transpire in college sports..

So he’s a bad person for offering guys jobs that on the Clemson staff? They very well could have turned him down or Dabo could have counter offer them. These guys decided to go along with Venables and that’s their choice. He’s not a bad guy for offering them a job. I guarantee Dabo knew that was coming. It’s part of the business. Sounds like sour grapes on your part.
