Other way. It was an Alabama fan that did it to an LSU fan while he was passed out drunk. It was after the Alabama-LSU BCS Championship game. They have some really high class fans for both schools, pretty sure many of them did not make it past 8th grade!

Clemson has fans. SEC has fanatics. Huge difference. They litteraly think these games are life and death. I love Clemson but the day I want to kill somebody over a game I need to quit watching. Prayers to the family

could be the LSU fans were just that twisted... twisted enough just to beat a Bama fan to death. but it could be the Bama fan was every bit, and more, bad as coot fans and the guy just picked off the LSU fans.
doesn't make it right, but I am not sure we can accept the narrative that this was simply because of the game.
