No area panics like Atlanta area

Sep 18, 2016, 6:05 PM

I just drove to a friends house...#######, ga (30 miles north of Atlanta) to Johns Creek.

Drove past 7 gas stations and all were closed and out of gas except one, and there was a line 1/2 mile down the road waiting to get gas...

Will keep you guys posted...

I could only find premium in Georgia today. Drove from MS to NC. People are in full panic mode for sure though

The main reason IMO is because....

Sep 18, 2016, 6:43 PM

the news media, especially the TV stations, here in Atlanta cause the panic.

I found regular gas at a secluded Texaco station.......

in Dunwoody (north Atlanta) off of I-285 today near where I live - didn't expect to as I couldn't find gas anywhere else (except a couple of places that still had some premium).

Well, they've seen what happens to their city during the zombie apocalypse, so how can you blame them?

yep, that's why the Walking Dead show picked ATL

to make the premise more realistic - they knew ATL would be totally wiped out within the first week.

Can't help but wonder how the Uber drivers ..
