team on transfers, we should try to get ones that have at least two years left. I would still prefer high school players, but by and large, BB does not appear to recruit these predominantly.

Right now we need eligible bodies that can play minutes. The one a done gives room for the next class to sign multiple year players.

BB is now the king of one and dones.
His recruiting classes don’t stay (2 of 3 from last years “best recruiting class for BB”.)
He can’t keep 7 ft recruits. All 3 of recent classes have transferred out.
Then, he recruits one year players to not just fill a gap that he created by losing his high school recruits - he needs them as starters - which prevents the freshmen from getting minutes and developing..
Teams not named Duke, Kentucky, UNC - can compete if they bring in talent to be developed and they develop chemistry when they become upperclassmen. When you fill your team full of 1 year rentals, you don’t build chemistry - nor do you develop talent as the younger ones watch as they get passed over by rentals.
Not a good model.

Maybe, just maybe, take a look at the final standings this year before you try to compare us unfavorably to Duke & UNC in the one & done era.

I think the NCAA has done a fabulous job of bettering the game of college basketball. They took a big problem of freshman one and dones at the blue blood schools and turned it into a huge problem for the entire college landscape with players of all ages and classes. Bravo!!

I have no idea if it’s new, or if it’s the one from the day before.
And at this point, I don’t even care enough to look into it.
Just give me a bunch of random dudes wearing a Clemson uniform, and we’ll see how it goes.
What difference does it make at this point?
