Would you trade Louisville for Maryland to get the Terps

back in the ACC? I probably would (see caveat below). Louisville joining the conference was like placing a double wide in an upscale neighborhood.
For purposes of this exercise, please ignore the impact of Maryland's obstreperous fans.

That's pretty much the end of it for me.
Objectively, Maryland is a better target than Louisville. But they left so let them be Big Ten people. What we need to focus on as a conference is optimizing the programs of the universities that are here.

I think Louisville is an upgrade from Maryland. Better football, Hoops at least as good, and better baseball. Plus you have Churchill Downs right down the street.

So Clemson would finally be number #2
As Georgia is always winning the recruiting war.
Tar Heels- could be up and coming- lets see what happens after Sam H. is gone- could be good.
No matter what conference the dirt peckers are in they will lower you SOS- better off without them- would be easy to start a new rivalry- (Clemson is some what hated for its winning ways).
Florida- maybe- not lately
Tennessee- could be again if they get things fixed- so at this point- where have you improved the SOS- I think ESPN would denounce Georgia, Florida, and Tennessee as weak and the reason they left the SEC. They could compete in a lesser ACC conference.

Meh, LU, to me, is kind of like the coots. You know we are going to beat them, but by how many more than 3 touchdowns is the question. Hate the TERPS in basketball mostly, but I also hate their trash laden uniforms in football.
