Clemson's offense right now is like a car that has been mysteriously misplaced...stolen...or sabotaged. It's like somebody clogged most of our hoses with gorilla glue. Now some key parts are ruined and the new parts are not working with what is already working with the rest of the car as if the parts are not compatible......but the manual says it is.

Nope. One TD and we could have won that game. The new offense and first game of the year struggled as some expected. Ga Tech bothers me more even though we beat them. TE said Tech surprised him with the defense, eliminating the long passing game. I wonder what Tech saw that came up with what proved to be an effective defense?

Hopefully, Shipley will lead us off the dirt road and onto the interstate. That should take the pressure off DJ for the short and long air attacks.

I was pretty sure that WE eliminated the long passing game. DJ just has not been a very good downfield passer........things will come around

No they didn’t break us. You have to take what the defense gives you. It may be 20 play drives this year. We could put two tail backs in at the same time and give the defense something to think about. Also, we could send one or both out for passes. The defenses know how to prepare for the few plays we run. We either beat them or they beat us on every play. Mistakes or mosques stop most drives. Eliminate the negative yardage plays and we score more points, but longer drives. Maybe running to the outside on first down may help or letting the back pick his hole might work. Saying one guy is the man doesn’t help us either in my opinion. Every team changes qbs sometime.
