How long will it take for scummy agents to start hawking our players and creating distractions. I know Dabo supports it and I hope he has a plan in place to keep things like this from deterring focus from the players. Because, let’s say I’m a 19-20 year old kid in a contract negotiation with Lake Keowee Ford about making a commercial or some sales flyer during game week for let’s say…..$25000….practice, homework, exams, workouts, game film, game prep, ALL of that takes a back seat until that $25K is signed and sealed. Then right after Keowee Ford deal is done my agent has lined up a meet and greet at Walmart in Seneca that will pay me $5000…and on and on.

Maybe there can be a Zero NIL policy during the season like there used to be a Zero social media policy to prevent distractions. Which by the the team ended last year. I hope that gets reinstalled this year because I think it was EXTREMELY helpful in curbing outside distractions.
