NIL is messing Recruiting for the fans too

To hear how fantastic last weeks camp went--then the amazing group of prospective players who came in for the weekend--to then start hearing the news of 2023 commitments is AWESOME. However, does anyone else feel differently this year with all the "shady business" going on at a lot of campuses? Take Nathaniel Joseph for example, he is getting bombarded by Cristobal & Co. at Miami (and plenty of others) to drop Clemson for the Hurricanes. Is it fair to TigerNation to not be able to feel secure in celebrating/anticipating his arrival on campus? JUST WONDERING...

A commitment really doesn't feel as bonding as it used to. There have always been flips, but that was a minority of the class.
As you said, it is difficult to get as excited about a commitment as it has been in the past.

You should know by now that a recruit is just that until December when he can sign. The ink on the paper is what we need and until that happens, players are fair game.
