Both baseball and football land big time recruits…

The main difference is baseball loses recruits to the MLB draft prior to their arrival on campus, football almost never loses incoming freshmen to the NFL. I think if Monte and Drad could sit down with Dabo to pick his brain, he could provide insight. Sometimes all it takes is a fresh set of eyes.

They need more full ride scholarships, that is exactly what they need. Larger alumni support with the bigger schools helps them to take up the slack with the lack of scholarship funds!!!

The fact that Dabo is unable to recruit the type of players that the NFL wants to draft straight out of high school is going to be the death of our football program.

But look at the players that have gone pro over coming to Clemson, who are now having very successful pro careers. Grienke is the biggest one that come to mind. Austin Meadows is also a rising star.

Equation. Sure pick Dabos brain because if I’m right he hasn’t lost a single 5 star at least to the nfl (I haven’t racked four stars and below). But then surely you also think there should be a meeting with Brownlee to discuss transfer management/portal issues.

for the family members of the football players, and I think this has only happened one or two times with Baseball. This should definitely be on the agenda when they have their round table discussion.

Yep, this should be a case of, if you can't beat them, do what they do to get better, and a car is probably cheaper through an alumni car dealership, than what the bagman has in his McDonalds bags!!!

of keeping our prized recruits from the NFL it’s laughable that “experts” think he is in jeopardy of losing two football recruits to the MLB draft…laughable…to play baseball.

Dabo probably could be great in about anything that he puts his best foot forward in, but I would much rather we have a mighty FB program over any sport there is, period!!!
Maybe when ever he can get some spare time after FB season, he could do some moonlighting over in Monte's office with his ideas of how he would make the baseball program better. Better yet, he could help Monte put together a few fund raisers in getting more money for baseball scholarships....
