Does anyone on here actually talk about Clemson Football

First I see a lot of non-football related talk on the football board. If I wanted to hear opinions on how awful or not awful Brownell is I would read the basketball forums.
Since it is brought up please stop defending Brownell he sucks. 12 years is definitely enough time to get things in the right direction at least.
Now on to football. The real reason any of us visit this site and from here on out it should be all we are talking about.
Goodwin and the offensive coaches all agree that it is much easier to install the offense without BV calling 47 different blitz packages during practice. Should this be a cause of concern? Our defensive has thrived on the exotic blitz packages in BV's arsenal. Now we want it simplified all of sudden?
Also the fact that we aren't targeting the 5 star D lineman anymore and blaming it on NIL deals is absurd. Also why haven't we put a package together that at the very least looks somewhat appealing to these kids, that coincides with the outstanding education and campus experience you get at Clemson.
Please answer the football questions only the rest doesn't matter until they actually become relevant.
In today's world of my opinion matters more than anyone else's, people post info they want to have people read on the bored that everyone reads. That would be the football bored. I'm not totally innocent of these same practices.
As to the football questions, just my opinions, no insider info.
I think our defense will be great, just a bit different. From what I've read, we'll still employ a lot of different blitz packages, but I think Wes said he would utilize more situational blitzes. There's a trade off between blitzing more and trying to get plays in late and having your defense set and ready to go. I think the transition will be easier due to the talent we have returning. Also, this years D line, if healthy, can probably disrupt the QB with fewer blitzes.
I think we're still recruiting the best players that fit our culture and system. If we back off of some players, it is probably because it becomes clear that they have more interest elsewhere or they have an incompatible set of priorities. I also believe I've read that we're developing an NIL program to compete with the rest of college football (and hopefully other sports, but that's for a different bored) but I've not followed up to see if any details are out there.
Well we all know you don’t give a sheet about where you

Post. Just yesterday you had a political post killed off of the football board because you didn’t give two fox where you put it. Heck if you wanna be an inconsiderate jackleg who makes the mods work unnecessarily to keep order I guess that’ll’s your right. I don’t know, for me I appreciate all of the work they do to keep this a free site and will try to show them some respect.
Well, if the original poster is serious, I think the point

is how seldom anybody uses the correct Forum. They just dump everything in Football to get the most views. Got really bad the last couple years... Covid, masks, vaccines, Trump, Biden, whatever. Like we don't have a separate Forums for Politics. I guess I could go find a message board about restoring muscle cars, and start posting about how to lose weight... you know, totally off topic...

Okay this is a response to the Clemson faithful that I thought prided itself on being one big family. At least that's how my time at Clemson has been spent. Yes there is a major Football event going on which is what brought me here in the first place. It's called spring ball. For those of you unfamiliar with football and the process year round, this is the first look we get at the 2022 squad. You have a sure fired quarterback battle that all of the coaches will downplay for DJ's sake (and IMO they should because he has the tools) but nevertheless we still have one going on. Also we have a defense that is questionable now. I'm not sold on Weslichick just yet. He coached one game with BV defense and BV game plan. I'm not sold on how he is recruiting at linebacker and I'm worried about the drop off in the position because of a lack of knowledge. You had Skalski calling the plays and lining people up, before that it was Boulware.
Now neither of those guys are NFL caliber but they were athletic enough to play well on the college level but their ability to read plays is what made them great Clemson Linebackers.
I don’t care if it’s football, basketball, softball… those topics are what I want to see when I view the Tigerboard pane on the homepage. Your opinions on how the other party is destroying our way of life is unimportant and should be left in the deepest recesses of the P&R board. Other non-Clemson sports related “fun” topics like what lure you prefer when fishing in the tailrace canal, while infinitely better than your politics takes, belong in the amphitheater or some other general board.
Your mom conceived you with Steve Spurrier in the bathroom next to a lady having explosive diarrhea. Then Spurrier left her just like he left that trash program. Only for her to be left with you. The pinnacle of her disappointment. She probably wanted a healthy, handsome, child and instead she got you, a diseased looking settler on tigernet with rickets and leprosy.
1. Brownell totally sucks. Should have been fired years ago.
2. BV's exotic packages were an asset. They were also a problem. LSU and OSU both knew he waited until the last second to call the plays from the sidelines, used it against us, which was one of the reasons we lost both games.
3. 5-star "whoever" is becoming something, that as a coach, I'd pivot from as well. 5-stars are going to be the kids who are going to go where they're offered the most $$. Take 4-stars. Coach them up. Give them a chip. Watch them beat the sh*t out of 5-stars who've been paid millions and have essentially given up (looking at you Uiagalelei). NIL will 100% be THE factor for ANY athlete with a 5-star status to their name. The fact that we got Klubnik with no NIL program already speaks volumes for what the program can do.
I think you may be right on the NIL and 5 stars, however, 5 stars on the D line are built different. They are usually bigger and faster than 4 stars. I.E. Bryan Breese or Jordan Davis. If 4 stars are out there at their size then they usually get the 5 star nod. We have to still have guys like that and the power rangers if we stay relevant.
First, last time I checked it’s not football season.

Second, like I tell the other little crybabies on here that make the same stupid comments if you don’t like the headline or if the headline isn’t about football don’t click on the post! If you don’t like something keep on clicking and not stop on that channel. But don’t tell other people what to fo!
Yes. Technically it is the football board. But everyone knows this is the de facto primary board on the Tigernet forum. Therefore, it gets all the traffic. The people that don’t understand that are the problem.

Also as the board police I cannot ignore these infractions. Please comply with the Chief of the Board Police or face immediate consequences. You will receive a demerit. 3 of those and you will get 1 citation. If you get 5 citations you will receive a verbal warning. 3 of those verbal warnings will get you 1 written warning. And 2 written warnings will be a disciplinary review. 5 of those and you will get a full disadulation. You don't want one of those.
