With our whole D-line moving on, and losing Mullen and Lamar I was extremely concerned with our early matchup with Texas A&M, even with the unreal talent we return on offense. BUT now with muse, Simmons, and Wallace all returning our secondary has quickly turned into a strength. With Booth coming in at corner (I see him starting immediately) our back 4 can dominate. This game was in my eyes the only one that would stop us from breezing through to a 5th playoff. What a great time it is to be a tiger... wow. Also quick note, watch for Mike Jones to dominate next year at Linebacker for us. The guy is a freak and will be the next Dorian O'Daniel/Tre Lamar.

I was thinking that today, our secondary should be a strength this season. Even though Simmons technically doesn’t play in the secondary he still has an important role on pass defense. I also think Andrew Booth will be a starter midway through the season. I know I’ve only watched high school film on him but you can tell when a kid has the talent to play whatever position they’re supposed to play and he definitely has that talent to be a contributor right away and eventually start. Him and Lay the TE are the most “college ready” players in this class imo.

Im excited to see Pinkney as much as anyone. Really waited and developed. I think him with J Williams will be a load with some additional quickness at DT and just let Shaq destroy someone.
