Is there such thing as good gin?

I'd like to taste it, because I have never met a gin I found tolerable. Obvioulsy I don't care for martinis.

Leopold Brothers in Colorado is one of the best in the US. I also like Nolet, but it doesn't taste like juniper. I'll get Aviation or Plymouth in a pinch.

Question..

So is Tangeray(sp) or Bombay Sapphire junk in comparison to Leopold Brothers? Those would be "quality" for me.

I had a gin and tonic in a hotel bar in Atlanta
Feb 11, 2016, 6:56 PM

She used Leopold Brothers Navy strength gin, free poured and put about 1 finger of tonic water. And then topped it off with another splash of gin on top. I thought it was going to be harsh... it wasn't. I've been hooked ever since. Super smooth, not too sweet and a good flavor. It's small batch with individually numbered bottles. Not very expensive either. You'll have to go to a liquor store in Georgia (most likely Atlanta) to find it.
If I'm in a bar, I'll drink Hendrix before I drink Tanq or Bombay (which use to be my go to gin).
If you're near Spartanburg, Motte & Sons on Danial Morgan has a very smooth gin as well.

but bartender in Miami (while there for the bowl game) turned me on to No. 209 from San Fran. Haven't been able to find it in North or South Carolina but will keep looking.
Had Hendrix at Shula's with a slice of cucumber and that was awesome as well.

are you working your wily way attempting to get @Mac_CU's hopes up?
Hello fellow Clemson fans. I am new to the whole tigerboard and the active part of tigernet, but I have been using tigernet as my information center for Clemson football for about 3 years ever since I started getting really dedicated. I am wondering if most of the information on the forum board is accurate or not because I want news on Rashan Gary and trayvon Mullins and etc, but I don't want to read false info and get my hopes up that they will be coming and then that info is false. Thanks.
