Since we have a forum filter now, so you can still see both at the same time, we have broken out religion into a separate board since those threads were not as common especially lately and were getting lost in the shuffle.

We also created a "Current Events" board for whatever hot topics pop up. I would suggest discussing the war in Ukraine there. You can still post about it in Politics (meaning we are not going to police that), but I think it would work better to have some separation there so as to not drown out all the non war threads.

There is also a new Business and Investing board as there was no existing board suitable for crypto threads

What’s wrong with my tigernet.com? On the main page under the Clemson sports updates under newest and popular there has always been most recent posts but now it is blank and nothing comes up unless I click on read more. Did the forum changes affect something? Do I need to change settings? I am the most technologically challenged 45 year old man around, but my kids can’t help me either.

B-Meist, Can you change the default board for posting from Football to General?
The biggest complaint heard a lot is that members frequently post Basketball, Baseball, etc information on the Football board. This happens because the Football board is the default and many do not know that the need to change to another board. Better yet, require a board to be selected for posting.

PLease don’t change the default. I don’t want to have to select what board I want to read or post on. I prefer one big board and I have the freedom to choose what I read and what I don’t read.

If TNET changes the default to General, you would still see all of the posts unless you specifically pick a board such as Football or basketball

At least 90% of the posts today on the Football board are about Basketball and Baseball.
This post by B-Meist was posted on the football board. Even he doesn’t change to the right board.

So how do I post a new topic on the hunting/fishing board? When I try it takes me to the football board.

You can either go to the board index and hit new topic, or you can go to the general boards index, hit new topic, then click the board in the list.
I just did a test and it worked fine. Maybe you are hitting new topic from the tiger board(s) category, which would not have that board in the list.

Just tried again and cannot select that board from any of those options. When I select it from the board index and hit new topic it goes to the football board and when I try to select the hunting board from there it is not shown as an option. Probably user error but I can’t seem to figure it out.

Wow. That still didn’t work. When I try to post a new topic it goes to Clemson football and I cannot see the hunting board as an option. I tried to post something while it said Clemson football in the board field and it gave me jibberish.
