Will I receive a warmer welcome to the Tnets? I've been here less than a fortnight and feel as though I'm Francis Scott Key enduring the siege of Fort McHenry. Is 40% normal. Are the old guard of Tnet just hazing me as I prepare for a brighter future, or am I just a guttersnipe?

I'll give you a TU for trying. Here's some more unsolicited advice: chill, don't come off as whiny or patronizing. Don't try to defend your perceived coolness and understand that you either got off on the wrong foot or that you are, indeed, a coot. Just make positive comments that support our Tigers, don't succumb to the temptation to post snarky replies and TU others response that you agree with.

FWIW, I really like the Francis Scott Key analogy. Wasn't he the author of Tiger Rag?
