Headed out from SAV to Tigertown to JOE21’s Church Memorial @ 3

Nov 26, 2021, 8:38 AM

and can’t wait to meet his Family & Friends at the Methodist Church as we share & praise how his long life impacted us & the world so much.

Later some of us are meeting up at the ESSO Club for an informal wake with a toast to “The Clemson PAW Man”, better known as “Mr JOE”.

GoTiGERs!

Never knew Joe personally but I felt like I knew him

somewhat through his posts. I miss that generation and there are so few of them left. I cherished his stories and humor. It reminded me of my grandparents and their friends while I was growing up. With that being said Bill I hope you never feel the need to make yourself scarce around here again. Ignore the negativity and understand that you are valued. Just be you. It’s a blessing to many.

My Mom & Dad were good friends of Joe and his wife. When you live in Clemson and go to the same church, you tend to know everyone. But Joe and Dad had a close friendship, whether it was their love for the Tigers, Lodge Brothers or theology, they seemed to enjoy each other's company.

When Mom & dad passed away in 2019, Joe was at both celebration of life services and made it a point to speak to my siblings and I. That was just the kind of person he was, kind, thoughtful and respectful. What you know of Joe on T-net was just a glimpse of what he was.

Love you Joe!
