Need To Work With What You're Blessed With ---

Amari needs to understand that his body and height is more on the running back side if things. However he will have to put in the work to pull off what Tyreek Hill of the Chiefs is doing with his size and abilities at receiver.

If Amari thinks about it ....he could be such a threat receiving out of the backfield like a Darren Sproles. It could be very productive for Amari if the right team uses his abundant skills in the right ways.

Why would anyone see him as a RB?

Apr 7, 2021, 6:21 PM

Because of his stature?

Better to think “Steve Smith” .

Tyreek Hill is almost unstoppable except in Super Bowls.

I don't blame Amari for feeling that way but he should stay off Twitter.

He is not a running back, especially in the NFL. Running the ball between the tackles and pass blocking won't work for him in the pros. Screen passes may not either. It's a different level of athleticism and physicality.

He's a perfect slot receiver and backup wideout. I see no reason to ever line him up behind the QB besides trying to confuse the defense. I can also see him returning punts.

The Darren Sproles comparison seems logical but RBs know how to take hits more than WRs, regardless of size/weight.
