Need height and scoring

Whether at PG or PF… I would like to see Tyson on the wing instead of the 4. I thought Naz should have gotten more minutes down low last year.

That allows Hall to play his more natural position at the 4. This assumes that Middlebrooks can be the starter and give us good minutes at the 5.
In this scenario, Schieffelin would be the primary big off the bench and would still see good minutes. The two freshmen forwards (Wiggins at PF and Godfrey at SF) will also have an opportunity to get meaningful minutes.
Given this, I don’t think we need a big man from the portal unless we expect to lose someone. Also, the risk of getting a big guy from the portal is that it might cause one of our current guys to leave. Unfortunately that’s the reality in college basketball today.
I think we need to focus on a PG from the portal that handles the ball well. He doesn’t have to be a scorer, but it would certainly be nice if he can create off the bounce and hit the 3 with some consistency. It would also be nice if he is at least 6’2” so he isn’t at a big size disadvantage.

And who is the big wing who replaces Collins output. A 6-4 or taller strong presence on the boards too?

Plenty of height

There's plenty of height with a starting lineup that includes Tyson, Schieffelin, and Hall that has Middlebrooks off the bench with the freshmen.
PG is still the number one priority. As others stated, the PG doesn't need to score, but he needs to be a good facilitator.

I agree with this, although I think I would go with Tyson SF, Schef PF, and Hall C.
This would give us a little more quickness without losing much size.
We def need a PG still and that's what I would go after with the 1 remaining spot.
I really hope that Godfrey is ready to come in and play some minutes as a back up SF ASAP. He already has the size.

Better at 2 guard because

Most teams play right handed with their ‘slasher ’ and Tyson would be on the left with the spot up shooter. It would allow him to be weak side help defense and keep him in place to be the good rebounder he is.
