ND to B1G potentially helps Clemson and FSU

Jul 4, 2022, 11:23 PM

If ND bolts for the B1G, then I think any other ACC schools wanting to exit the conference would claim that the loss of ND and this 4-5 games per year (plus all of the non football games) is a material change to the agreement and therefore releases the rest of the conference from the GOR.

ESPN could actually grease the skids to help Clemson, FSU, etc. by demanding a reduction in the ACC payout understanding they are losing 2 to 3 ND games a year due to ND ending it’s ACC arrangement.

Agreed, I’m pulling for ND Stanford Oregon Wash to/for B20

That will get SEC motivated to expand to 20 but hopefully to 24 and get 7-8 ACC schools. This would help fight/dissolve the ACC GOR.
