you should have told him...you feel safe saying that because you know you'll get bumped out of the #4 spot during the conference championship game week...

I don't think either of us will have to worry about that....

because I have my doubts that Notre Dame is going to be one of the four teams in the playoffs. Based on the way the season has unfolded, their credentials are just too thin.
Their best wins are against Southern Cal (7-3), Temple (8-2), and Navy (8-1), and a win against Stanford (8-2) won't be enough to vote Notre Dame in over some other undefeated or on-loss teams.

would get in over ND. What happens if Oklahoma wins out ? they lost to Texas,Nd beat Texas.
I'd love to see a one loss ND get snubbed, make them realize they need a conference. Let them in the ACC, they can bring Navy with them.Realign the divisions,Old ACC plus FSU , Old Big east plus ND.

If Oklahoma wins out, they're in ahead of Notre Dame IMO

They just beat No. 6 Baylor and that is already better than any win Notre Dame has plus they would have also defeated No. 10 TCU and No. 6 Oklahoma State.

That's like the delusional FSU fan that tried to tell me that they dominated us the entire game except 6 minutes. He also said that their savior Winston had better stats that Mariota and when I showed him the NFL stats on QB rate he changed it to well Winston plays on a lot worse team and he will end up as the best QB in the history of the NFL. He got mad and left when I started to laugh in his face on that one. Go Tigers

ND games, and we also shut Watson down as soon as we went up 21-3 early in the 3rd q. I think with the way the defense was playing for about 3q of that game, the staff really thought that we could just run the football the rest of the game to reduce risk of turnovers and win fairly comfortably with the D continuing to shut them down.
It didn't quite work out, but i really think if we played them again we would score a good bit more than 24 points. We've gone over 500 yards in 6 straight games now.

I don't understand the obsession everyone has about the fact it rained on the ND game and insinuating that ND was the only one effected by the poor conditions. If they really want to make point they should say "hey we turned it over 4 or 5 times and only lost by two."

would benefit ND because we wouldn't be able to stop their powerful run game, and we would have more trouble passing in the monsoon.

Exactly. Now it's the reason they lost and is somehow an equalizer. Matters not I suppose. Clemson just needs to handle their business. The rest is beyond their control.

If it wasn't for the rain we would have run their tails out of Death Valley with a 4 td loss. I think they better hope they don't play us again.
