Clemson Georgia in Charlotte

I see someone posted a link from another site about the possibility of the Georgia game being moved out of Charlotte. I wrote a few weeks ago that there was a school of thought that if NC doesn't relax attendance restrictions then the schools might think about it, but that's all it is. In fact, I called the guy who is in effect at the top of the food chain for the Charlotte game (he's a longtime acquaintance) and he laughed at me and said, "it's April for Christ's sakes. Ask me in July." My guy at Clemson said the same thing and laughed and said, "we are now making decisions for June because all of this is changing so fast."
In other words, right now it's a big old nothing burger will nothing burger condiments and a shriveled pickle. If it gets to mid July then I think contingency plans will be talked about. For the record, the guy who runs the Atlanta kickoff games sent me a text and said he thinks other places might be better disposed to host that game. If it gets serious I'll let ya know.

Thanks David. I know you don’t just throw reports out there for the sake of click bait, so I’ll wait on what your hear. I do wonder who the “three different sources” in the TCI article. It made it sound so important??

Up to 25% now. Cuomo doing whatever he can to get his troubles out of the news. As someone who lives on Long island I would love this but probably the only one here.

Are they going to be able to get different sponsors to put up the coins if it is moved at that late of a date?
Clemson and Georgia spent a lot of money to get out of the games they both originally scheduled.

I have heard if movement happens, the wheels will start turning after the NASCAR race in Charlotte in May. Atlanta, Jacksonville are possibilities. Splitting tickets in Clemson?

I’ve converted my 2 StubHub tickets purchased for last year’s Notre Dame game to 3 tickets for UGA game. Will be interesting to see if this game also cancelled.
