I'm hoping for something closer to 13 for week 1 ranking.

I think that is more accurate and would be some great bulletin board material

Gotta love how these guys spin things. Ocry0 St has “a new-look defensive scheme under Jim Knowles” that should help “tremendously” and Clemson losing both coordinators is a huge question mark.

I like being ranked low. Fuel for the ROY bus.

Preseason rankings provide us plenty of mostly worthless speculation for sure.

Last year I thought Clemson was National Championship material heading into the UGA game, so I'm really talking about me. :)

With regards to Clemson in 2022 I'm not sure what to expect, due entirely to the offense. A return to national relevance and the CFP requires the offense to have a break-out season. It hinges on the QB play drastically improving, as well as OL, WR, and a play-calling upgrade. Do we even have TE's? That's a lot of assuming.

We certainly have the talent for a Top-10 offense, and I'm hoping for the best. But, they have a LOT to prove in order for Clemson to reach the top of the mountain. We'll see.
