Navy coach is a whiner.

Sep 14, 2020, 11:58 PM

First he doesn’t let his players tackle until their first game. Now he’s crying about the commander in chief trophy moving forward. How can Air Force have an advantage by playing only two games? If anything it’s a disadvantage.

Clemson doesn't care about basketball....as evidenced by Brown-L getting 14 years.

Navy was maybe an 8 point underdog to BYU in the first game. They kept it close only losing 55-3. He is making excuses for his loss to Air Force now.

One would think that after being at the Naval Academy

Sep 15, 2020, 6:47 AM

for 14 years Niumatalolo would understand how the military works. Sometimes the folks above you make decisions you don't like. However, once your superiors have made a decision it is your job to support that decision to the best of your ability - as if the decision were your own. If you find that you are unable to support that decision, then your only alternative is to remove yourself from that chain of command through resignation. Since Niumatalolo has not submitted any resignation papers, he needs to (as we say in the military) #### and color. Freaking whiner...

Truthfully, I've never been a big fan of Niumatalolo and am glad the Army finally has a good coach in Jeff Monken. You don't see Monken crying about this non-issue and if you have watched Army play this year they looked ready to play... unlike Navy.

As the eldest son of the late Torpedoman Master Chief JC Britt ( 24 years served ) I will yell GO NAVY , BEAT ARMY !

You're right though , old Ken needs to focus on getting better and leave the excuses in his footlocker .

A TU for the late Torpedoman Master Chief JC Britt. We are thankful for his service, and all y'all t-net veterans. We couldn't argue amongst ourselves if not for our vets.

The mans entitled to his opinion. By all accounts he’s a good person and good coach who does good by his players. Navy could do a lot worse. He’s stuck with them after receiving better job offers.

Dabo expressed a very similar opinion on the CFP when asked about the Big10 and Pac12 issue. I guess he’s a whiner too...

that sort of logic is not welcome here.

Go Navy! Beat Army!

Marine Corps - 1992 - 2000

Coach Ken needs to stop it for sure. I will agree on that point. He is usually pretty good on this sort of thing. I think the embarrassing loss to BYU has negatively affected his judgement (temporarily)!

But I can't see anything other than Army stomping a mudhole in Navy.

Our QB looks "shaky" at best! At least he did against BYU. I am hoping it was due to how they apparently "didn't prepare" for BYU and by A/N game we are ready to go and dominate Army!

He deserved that butt kicking by BYU. What kind of idiot coach would not let his team hit the entire pre season camp?
