like what the hell. they talk about non-sports and unrelated junk all day.
the best way to go is to search around for various local radio shows.

I just signed up for XM recently. I've only had it for a few weeks and admittedly, I'm beyond tired of the DirecTV kangaroo ads, but XM91 is pretty good. That First Team with Taylor and Greg McElroy has quickly turned into my favorite show I think.
I was at the breaking point - if I had to listen to Bobby Hartin (Charleston gaycock radio) any longer, I was going to stick a crochet hook in my ear.

the Pack Man. I was just talking about this with a coworker - Packer couldn't analyze a game to save his life but his show was fun and local. For anyone sick of being told about the SEC, his show was 90% ACC fans (some South Carolina, some Georgia...basically just what a Clemson fan would enjoy). Then he went XM and I'm sure it's a totally different feel (although I don't have XM).

Chris Kroeger is the guy now.
It's still Packman's show, with QCB and a lot of the same callers and guests, but no Packman.
The guy now is not as good. I miss Packman, *sniff, sniff*

Packman (Mark Packer) is on XM91 from 4 PM to 7 PM during the weekdays. His XM show is good, but not nearly as funny or entertaining as Prime Time was. He is still very unbiased, as are most of the XM91 hosts/shows. They don't follow the SEC hype rhetoric. I don't even listen to local (Charlotte) radio anymore...

in Charlotte. Then I listened to it. My gosh is it terrible. Bunch of yankees talking about a bunch of crap that no one in the Charlotte market cares about. The last time I gave it a shot they started putting down southern rock for some reason and that's when I forgot what the channel was. As Charles Barkley would say it was "Turrble"!

Talk from 6-8PM (currently on 560 The Team) we are moving over to Fox Sports Radio 1400 (already on 1400 over the air)- but for now the streams are still on 560. I also podcast every show so that you can listen at your leisure. If you have a Smartphone, I'd love to have you as a new listener.
