in sports media as if they have already won and are not even playing in DEATH VALLEY. I mean, seriously, I think folks have forgotten about DEATH VALLEY because we haven't played a big game there in a while. But you know better! Not just loud but CLEMSON LOUD!!! Go Tigers!!!

@AAThomas® It makes more money for the worldwide leader to build them up! People know Clemson and will tune in at a higher rate if they think somebody is going to take Clemson down. Not because we are Clemson; but because "it's the usual suspect vs. the up-start wanna-be"! A lot of people like that especially if there is a chance "the establishment"(Clemson in this case) goes down.
And better ratings never hurt their pocketbooks!
It's what the Sorry Excuse Conference has mastered over the years! Build up the opponent to epic heights; to help generate more viewership.
And, hey Nancy had 17 of 22 starters back on defense and offense from a team that won 11 games. And, they did manage in "A so Called down year" to beat Clemson. *in ot. *with several questionable calls. *when we were struggling mightily. *at their place. *lots of missing players for Clemson.
But, give them credit for that! We'll see. I know we are far better than East Carolina; who they should have lost to but for a missed PAT and FG.

Did you or someone else recently start a thread about which you would prefer?
A. Clemson blowing the opponent out.
B. A back and forth game that Clemson wins.
C. A nail biter right to the last play(Clemson wins).
Foresttiger if you have poll capability - that would be a good one. I have to tell you; I like the games where it's not really a contest. The football fan in me likes back-and-forth games - but my nerves can't take it, LOL! What's your preference of the three?
