Honest talk. It's a bad idea to lock in assistants with ridiculous money.
You need to embrace the coaching changes every year.
It's Saban's true secret.
When you are in the playoffs every year, you can replace coordinators with anybody you want. Nobody says no to a champion which essentially guarantees you a shot at a head coaching gig within two years.
You always have the best up and coming guy in the game at your coordinator positions. Your offense/defense never gets stale, or behind the times. Always a new wrinkle for your opponents to figure out.
In short, Clemson needs to work on it's "coaching tree."
You're opponents in the ACC had ya'll figured out on both sides of the ball a year or two ago, and just didn't have the talent to do anything about it. This season, it bit you in the ### a little.
You can't freeze lightning in a bottle. Embrace the change.
That's the only way to stay at the top once you get there.

Dude, I'm not trashing your program. Just telling you the missing piece of the puzzle.
You don't have to be in attack mode every minute of every day. I'm completely aware of our history.
