Every single player did their absolute best and it showed. Everybody stepped up. But after yesterday's game it was clear to me that Oklahoma had Cagle figured out. Lots of film to scout. They had her almost predictable. Spencer should've been brought in to finish. She's a good pitcher she it was clear that OU had invested all their scouting on Cagle. I believe she could've finished for us. But what do I know.

All I know is that every one of these girls played their absolute best today. It's a shame they couldn't get the W for their efforts.

Ranked schedule for a reason; they’re accustomed to these types of comebacks. With that said they were very fortunate in the 7th that twice they had bloop singles that barely cleared the first baseman. The 0-2 pitch that was hit for the game tying homerun was probably a mistake and left up too high in the zone. She shoulda buried that pitch in the dirt; but the drop ball didn’t really drop on that one.

use the best player in the country at crunch time, and we lose... he's an idiot and should be fired. Now he's suspect because he did and it just didn't work out. I'm sure she wasn't instructed to leave a high pitch hanging on a 0-2 count with 2 outs...

I agree that OU might have figured Cagle out but also her pitch count was getting up. I bet she would have liked to have that one pitch back that was high in the zone.
