So last week this week started out with a bang when I found out my mom's lack of cervical curvature was causing a narrowing of her spinal column that resulted in loss of feeling, strength and function in her hands and arms. So we geared up for a quick turnaround surgery that I will miss a good bit of work for. She will probably not be able to drive for a good 4 weeks.
Well, this week, to add to the fun, the daycare is shutting down the whole week due to a positive COVID test for multiple teachers, one of whom is in my daughter's room. So also now have to coordinate childcare for a 3 year old while navigating mom's surgery.
Seems like post-recovery would be a good time for her to move to the ATL to be closer to my brother for a change.
